In this post you’ll discover the spiritual meaning of itchy hands or palms, according to superstition.

In fact:

Depending on whether you are experiencing left or right hand itching, it could mean completely different things!

I’m excited to share these discoveries with you.

Plus, at the end of this article I’m going to reveal the most common signs from heaven that a deceased loved one is still with you.

Ready to find out what it means when your hand itches?

Let’s get started!

The Meaning of Having Itchy Palms

What Does it Mean When Your Right Hand Itches?

Woman Holding Money

The right hand has very important spiritual meanings. It is considered to be our receiving hand and is symbolic of good fortune.

Isaiah 41:13 says, “For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, ‘Fear not, I am the one who helps you.'” Open your right hand in order to receive God’s blessing.

Now that we know the significance of your right hand, let’s find out what it means when your palm starts itching.

Several ancient superstitions claim that having an itchy right palm means you will receive money soon. This money can come in many forms.

For example, right hand itching can indicate that you will receive a reward soon. This could be a sign that you are about to win the lottery, find money on the ground, or get an unexpected raise.

When your right hand itches, check your pockets for unexpected money and keep an eye out for a surprise gift soon.

If you are in the process of selling your home or car, an itchy palm might mean that you will receive a generous offer. This is a very good sign.

You might also experience itchy palms immediately before payday or when you are expecting a check in the mail.

The superstition does not reveal exactly how much money you will receive, just that you should be open to a financial windfall.

Itchy palm superstitions also say that you should not scratch your itch as it could cancel your good fortune.

What Does it Mean When Your Left Hand Itches?

Homeless man

When your left palm itches it might not be a very good sign. Left hand itching could reveal that you are about to encounter financial troubles.

Ecclesiastes 10:2 says, “A wise man’s heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man’s heart directs him toward the left.”

The left side is symbolic of bad decisions and can mean that you are about to lose money or receive an unexpected bill. Your financial problems were likely caused by a mistake that led you down the wrong path.

For instance, when your left palm itches you might have to pay for urgent car repair bills, home maintenance costs, or medical bills.

You might experience itching on your left hand when bills are due but are worried that you don’t have enough money to pay them. This can also mean that you are struggling to pay off debts such as credit cards, car payments or student loans.

An itchy left palm could also indicate a down turn in the economy will happen soon. Be prepared when you turn on the news tonight, as it may reveal sudden changes in the stock market, economy, or unemployment rates.

The good news is that there is hope. Isaiah 41:10 says “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

To receive God’s help all we need to do is ask and it will be given to us (Matthew 7:7).

Signs From Heaven That a Deceased Loved One is with You

Here are the 15 most common signs that a deceased loved one is with you:

1. Feathers on the Ground

The next time you pass by a feather on the ground, don’t ignore it. Feathers are one of the most common ways to receive messages from angels and deceased loved ones in heaven.

2. Finding Pennies and Dimes

One way that a deceased loved one might send you a sign is by placing pennies, dimes or quarters on the ground in front of you. I like to call them “pennies from heaven” and they are a special way to remember loved ones that have passed away.
